For Number Day, the children came to school in clothing with numbers on and had a day of maths challenges and other ways of bringing ‘maths to life’.
The children brought in a donation for the NSPCC and a total of £280 was raised. All the money raised will make an enormous difference to children today and help the NSPCC prevent abuse and be there for children.
In the photos attached you can see the children worked in pairs and chose a number to represent in as many different ways as possible, using all of our maths knowledge. For example: partitioning, multiples, as an angle, on dice, as Roman numerals in money.
