New Reception Parents September 2020
A welcome notice to our new parents/carers of children joining our Reception classes in September 2020.
Welcome to Greenbank Primary School. We are so pleased that you have chosen our school for your child.
We are in unprecedented times and as yet we do not know when our school will re-open. However, we do not want this to prevent us getting you and your child ready to start with us in September. Ordinarily, you would be required to bring your acceptance form and additional information to school in order to accept your place. However, since school is closed, and to reduce risks associated with public contact, we would like you to do the following:
- If you have not already done so, please email firstname.lastname@example.org to accept your place. This will be our form of written confirmation & replaces the usual acceptance form we would ordinarily request in school.
- Please check your inbox for an email from our Early Years Lead Teacher Mrs Edge (email@example.com). The information you are able to supply to our Early Years team will greatly help us to best support your child as they begin our Reception Class. We would be grateful if you could do this by Friday 8th May if you are able.
- **Please complete the editable CRC Form (Purple Form) document below & Emergency Contact Form ASAP ** This is required information that school must update the Local Authority with and requires completing before your child starts school with us. Once completed please return to your form to firstname.lastname@example.org
Once we are back in school, we will contact you to bring in a copy of your child’s birth certificate and proof of address (if you have not already done this via email).
As soon as the restrictions are lifted we will arrange a meeting for the parents and a session for your child to visit our Reception class. These dates will be shared on our school website and you will also receive a letter confirming the dates and times.
We look forward to getting to know you and your child in the coming months and years.
Mrs D Wrigley
