Universal Free School Meals (Reception – Year 2)

Free school meals are available for ALL children in Reception, Year 1 and Year 2. This is due to a Government Policy which was introduced. When your child starts Year 3 you will start to be charged for their school lunches unless you decide to provide them with a packed lunch.

School Meals (Years 3 – 6)

Children in Years 3, 4, 5 and 6 can access a hot school meal at a cost of £2.20 per day, £11.00 per week. However, there will be parents of children in Years 3 – 6 who are eligible for Free School Meals. Eligibility and applications for this are to be made via the Liverpool City Council website: https://liverpool.gov.uk/benefits/free-school-meals/ You must inform school if you are eligible for Free School Meals so that you are not charged via Parent Pay for your child’s school lunches. (School does not always get notified immediately by the Council and it can take a number of weeks to appear on the FSM list we receive from them).

All payments for school dinners must be paid via Parent Pay in advance of your child receiving them. If you have any problems accessing Parent Pay please ask at the school office for guidance – 0151 522 5748.
